film-friends backup is a personal backup tool with a single user: its owner. It is not a public service.
It asks Google only for the drive.file permission. That lets it create files in the owner's Google Drive and manage the files it created. It cannot see, read or change any other file in the Drive.
It uploads encrypted backup archives of the owner's own project into a single folder in the owner's Drive, and deletes its own archives after 14 days. The archives are encrypted before upload, with a key only the owner holds.
Nothing is shared with, sold to or shown to anyone else. No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
The owner can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete the backup folder from Google Drive.
